Hello,
I have an uncle that just purchased a new computer with Windows vista. We
setup the computer with an ISP. We are able to connect to some websites but
not to most. i keep getting an error message. To give you an example, I
entered MSN.com. I was able to read the webpage, then directed to a different
site. when i typed the web address again, the webpage would give me an error
message. Unfortunately i don't have the message i was getting. I have checked
the IP address and all internet settings, all are correct.
any suggestions on what might be causing this problem?
Thanks

I'm going to suggest reading material that will help.

If he intends to download files do the following: You'll find quite a few
Tips on this site
Disable Remote Differential Compression Feature

Change Windows Scaling Factor

And currently Vista is not a supported OS is what I've learned from my ISP
site.
