Hi,

I am using ISA Server 2006 as reverse proxy server. At back end i have apache
web server. The resource at the backend is protected with basic and HTML form
authentication.

Ideally, when i send a request on browser with URL of the machine, where ISA
Server is installed, the request should be redirected to backend server, a
challenge should appear and after giving the credential the request should be
through.

The above is working fine with Mozilla and Netscape. But incase of IE, i am
getting re-challenge when the resource is protected with HTML form
authentication and getting cookie error in case resource is protected with
Basic authentication.

I have tried using IE6 as well as IE7.

Suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi RT,

I have no experience with your configurations, so I am only guessing. Start
by looking at your IE Security settings. Tools>Internet Options>Security
tab.

It may be that you only need to add your domain to the Trusted Sites.

Regards.
