Because the standard DSL service provided by our local carrier comes with a
static IP address, it would be ideal to have an option to constantly display
onnes own IP address somewhere on the browser. Why? Well, as a webmaster I
need to be carefull not to skew customers analytics data because I am always
working on their site. Though there is an option to mask a particular IP
address in most analytics programs, it is of no value if suddenly your IP
address changed without your knowleged. By having an option to constantly
displaying this information, one can take appropiate measures. Just an idea,
but option to alternative solutions/workaround.
