Error when brousing

I have one one of my systems IE7. When I enter an address at the Address bar
to browse to it; I get a "Windows cannot find '(null)'. Make sure you typed
the name correctly, and try again. To search for a file, click the Start
button, and then click Search". No matter what address; I still get the same
error.

Try the following to repair/replace windows files

Start > Run > Type in SFC /scannow
There is a space between SFC and /
