Start by telling us your Windows version and your IE version, Elias.  Also
state what anti-virus application you're using, as well as what third-party
firewall you may be running.

Cite a few of the webpages (links) where you encounter this behavior.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Assuming WinXP:
Start > Run > copy/paste each of the following lines into the command box,
in turn, then click on [OK]:
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll
You should get a confirmation prompt each time.
Thank you.
I am using IE7 on Windows XP SP2. I tried to run the commands you told me
but one failed with this error message: "Mshtml.dll was loaded but the
DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. The file can not be registered".
I also tried to check "disable script debugging" from  the Internet options,
advanced tab...
I am using  McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise 8.0.0.
Concerning the pages where i have this problem. i don't use this laptop to
browse the internet i use it only for work purposes so i only noticed that
it's on some sites related to work tools.
Thank you again
It's working now. I needed to run the following:
REGSVR32 msscript.ocx
REGSVR32 dispex.dll
REGSVR32 vbscript.dll
REGSVR32 scrrun.dll
REGSVR32 urlmon.dll
This problem is rooted in the restoration image that is currently being used
for new PC installations in our company.
You quote a request for more information, but you don't give any.
