In Dreamweaver 6.1, when I go to the Explorer 7 browser I get a javascript
error box when I return to the editing window. I don't get using Explorer 6,
and finally had to go back to using it. Does anyone else have this problem?
If so, have you found a solution in Explorer 7?

Thanks.

Hi Joel,

What scripting error?

There are naturally differences between IE6,7 and mozilla based browsers.
Here are some links that may help you debug your web app in IE7

MS Developer Toolbar
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=e59c3964-672d-4511-bb3e

****

Debug toolbar for IE - http://www.debugbar.com *****

Release notes for IE7 - http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/aa740486.aspx

A common reason for scripting errors is Hosts, toolbar addon or Firewall
blocking of advertisements. Typically of Google adwords - ' Object urchin is
undefined'

Regards.

Rob:

I don't remember the exact message, as I returned to Explorer, 6 so that I
could work. That solved the problem, but it would be nice to t use the latest
version of Explorer. I downloaded the debugger, which is a handy piece of
software. Thanks for this, and I'll look at the other sites you recommend.

Best,
Joel
