IE7 Error "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem..."

I have recently been receiving an error when using IE7. If I have a window
open, and a pop-up window off of the original opens, when I go to close the
pop-up window I receive the error. I have submitted the error report on
every occasion. I'm checked for updates, and even re-downloaded IE7.
Nothing has worked. I did find today that if I close the original window
first I do not get the error. I'm not sure what is going on, but find it
VERY annoying. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Look for BHO's and/or other programs running that can cause this problem.

IE - Tools - Manage Add-ons - Enable / Disable Add-ons

and check Task Manager
