Vista Ultimate. IE7. If I have problems with IE7 could I possibly reinstall
it on top of itself to fix corrupted files and solve the problem?

You cannot reinstall/uninstall IE7 in Windows Vista.

I know. I meant going online to the MS IE7 web site and clicking the
"Download" button.

I have two identical brand new PCs (two weeks worth of use each). One
started exhibiting IE7 irregularities in displaying web sites properly after
one week. In a few days I'll save my documents and have the IT store
reinstall the full Vista OEM on warranty. I was just wondering if there was
a less drastic measure. I did try all the MS tips for dealing with IE7
problems. No joy. Could that be a problem with the HDD?

Did you try Resetting IE, including starting IE in No Add-ons mode, etc.?

Yes. I tried everything except the System File Checker which I'll get to in
a couple days. Will post if results OK. Thanks.
