I have IE7 and Vista x64 installed.  Everytime I visit a webpage containing
movies, they will not play.  I simply get a "page cannot be displayed" error
when clicking the movie links.  Other browsers like Firefox and Opera will
work for these same sites;  i click the links, and windows media player 11
opens and plays the movies.  IE7 will not play them.  I tried resetting back
the defaults and still the same thing happens.  Any help would be appreciated.

someone previously posted a working solution:

Click Start and go to Default Programs
Then, select Set Program Access and Computer Default
Click Continue
Then choose a configuration - select Custom (click the double arrow beside
Custom). Scroll down the list and under choose a default media player, select
Windows Media Player.
Then click OK.
