Hi, I have Windows Vista & I deleted the Internet Explorer icon. The Internet
Explorer folder is still there. Quick Launch is inside it. But I can't go
online w/ IE.
So I tried to reinstall IE thru microsoft & it says I already have IE 7.
I've searched for the icon fully in my comp. I can't get online using it. I'm
using mozilla firefox right now.
I'm thinking of deleting the Internet Explorer folder I have that holds
Quick Launch & then reinstalling it. I have Vista & idk if that'd mess
anything up?
I need to use Explorer, as other programs I have won't open certain pages.
Please help :).

Hi,
If IE has disappeared from the Start Menu, try this...
Right-click the taskbar> Properties> Start Menu> Customize> Show on Start
Menu> Internet link> Internet Explorer.
To get the IE icon back on the desktop see:
555849- Internet Explorer 7 Desktop icon missing:

After restoring the IE icon to the desktop, you can drag it onto the
Quicklaunch Bar.
Hope this helps,
Don
