I have already had to add a unique CSS for IE 6 to handle page
formatting (specifically fixed positioning). It now appears that i also
need a separate js as well.
There are two problems (so far)
The mousedown event in IE uses different values for the various buttons.
Actually the IE numbers make more sense. Is there a method within java
script to figure this out, or is a separate script required.
Second. In an onevent handler, I want to do an action depending on the
object selected. In Firefox I can use:
var obj=event.currentTarget.id;
however the currentTarget is not supported in IE. How can I get this
piece of information. It looks like it might be:
var obj=event.srcElement;
  Any guidance would be appreciated.
