In IE7 how can I get a new tab to open using a specific URL?    At present
it opens with "You've opened a new tab" which is stating the obvious but
results in an extra operation.  My default opening tab is google.

regards,

Beemer

Hi,
On the "You've opened a new tab" page, check the Don't show this message
again box.

Then, Internet Options> General> Tabs> Settings>
When a new tab is opened, open:
* The new tab page or
* Your first home page

Hope this helps,
Don
