IP Helper Crash

Hi all,

Out of the blue I now have a recurrent crash of the IP Helper service.  It's
completely random, and happens after having Internet Explorer running for a
while.

I'm running Vista Ultimate, and as far as I can tell everything continues to
run fine after the crash (although internet explorer loses some of it's
visual effects - the tabs look different for instance) but I'm none the less
concerned over a service that repeatedly stops running.

I've read somewhere that IP helper has a lot to do with IPv6, which is
turned off in the settings for my network adaptor (I was having problems with
wireless authentication so i disabled IPv6 following some advice).

Does anybody have any ideas why IP helper keeps falling over and how I might
go about fixing it?  Do I need to be worried about it failing?  Does it leave
my PC vulnerable?

TIA

Martin

Not really a good enough reason to be asking for help about this
in the IE NG.  Try a Vista NG instead.   Cross-posting for convenience...
