Hi there;

I have windows Update set to notify but to not downlaod.

I find newupdates available for me today at:

http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us

but I haven't received that little shield notification in the system tray
that I usually get.

Might this indicate an SP3 related problem?

or is it just a delay between the two?

Kindest regards:

Ira

Not to worry. To avoid having their servers overwhelmed, Microsoft can
stagger the notifications.
