Although I have this option selected it doesn't appear to work as i would
expect it to.
If I open two new tabs from links on a web-site I would expect the tab
directly to the right of the tab I am in to be the last tab I opened.
This is not the case. The last tab I opened always opens at the end of the
tab row.

Any help would be appreciated.

I never noticed it before but I'm seeing the same behavior even though the
"Tools > Internet Options > Tabs > Settings > Open new tabs next to the
current tab" option is selected. In fact, selecting/deselecting that option
seems to make absolutely no difference whatsoever in IE7's behavior.

"Glad" to see that someone else has observed the same.
Maybe somebody out there has an answer?
