Unable to Download

I am unable to download pictures or files from the internet. It will go
through the whole download procedure but when it is done the file will be
missing. Upon searching for the file it will not be anywhere on my computer.

Windows version? IE version? What anti-virus application or security suite
is installed? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What
third-party firewall (if any)?

Windows Vista Premium, IE 7, Trend Micro PC-illin 14, I have no other spyware
except defender and the spyware software that came with the virus software. I
use the microsoft firewall and the firewall that came with my Virus software.
I have just recently been having this problem.

One firewall, please. Try disabling one of them.
