Lately, I have not been able to view the web pages that I visit the
most...Yahoo, Blackplanet, Myspace, and Walmart.  There may be others, but i
don't know.  I can view other pages and they work as usual, but these 4 are
not giving me anything. I'm using IE7/ Vista.  I've had the computer scanned
for viruses and they were removed.  I've checked to make sure these sites
weren't resricted.  I don't know what else to do.
Please Help!

Could you perhaps be more descriptive than "not giving me anything"?

I get a blank page.  In the tab, it says "CONNECTING".  At the bottom, the
loading bar only gets half filled and in the bottom left corner, there is a
clock that I've never seen there before.
Sometimes I might get a message at the bottom that says, "Web site found,
waiting for reply" and it never loads the page.

This usually happens because your security software is interfering.

I use Norton...should I uninstall it, and just use windows defender?  I've
never had this problem with Norton before.  It was on the computer when I
bought it.

Hi
I am having the same type of problem.
After downloading IE7 I find that some pages will load but immediatly get a
message saying IE cannot display the page & operation aborted.
I have been able to open page in the past & can still do so on my works
computer.
Additionally I am getting a popup saying I have trojans requesting I
download anti virus software which I just cancell. A full system scan shows
no viruses, trojans or any other problems.
When I do any search again I get the popupas above & a highlighted site
stating the same which dissapears if I refresh the search results page.
I have tried a system restore, updating all proyections & still get the same.
Can anyone assist in removing said popup etc.

Do a thorough check for malware, following all of the steps at one of these
Web pages.

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
For quite a few people it's by installing programs like Messenger Plus,
whose ads for malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince
you that you owe it to the author.  See also:

Don't ever do a "default" install of anything.  Always choose Custom and see
what else is being carried along.  Don't install any extras you're not sure
of.

I've had that problem before and just rebooting my router resolves it.  I
even made a note about it because it happens infrequently and I sometimes
forget what to do.

I hope it works for you as well.
