IE7 security pop-ups, which delay Javascript and Flash, are interfering with
web browsing. I keep customizing the ActiveX and script security settings,
but every time I open IE7 the high level security is back.
IE7 interferes with the Highslide Javascript graphic presentations on our
website (light-weaver.com). We used to be able to click the thumbnails to
enlarge them, then click them to close them. That still works in Firefox.
But IE7 puts the enlarged image on a blank white page, so the viewer has to
keep navigating back and forth.
IE7 also interferes with work on my own pages in my computer, when I'm
testing them in the browser.
I'm using Vista. I have McAffee security running. Is there any way to turn
off this IE7 over-zealous security activity? I may have to tell people to
use Firefox to view our website.

Hi Marilyn,
Does the resetting of the default Internet Zone Security settings only occur
on the machines where you work?
This behavior is usually applied by Group Policy. Please consult your
network administrators.
Alternatively you can add your site to the Trusted Security Zone where
active scripting is enabled by default.
McAffee may also be applying rules, but as I use One Care I could not say
for sure.
Regards.
