Since getting Vista and IE7 I have used refresh to load web pages more times
than in the last few months than in all the years previous, combined.  I've
even had trouble posting a question, and even logging in, to this forum.
I've worked with the add-ons, and that seemed to help with pages freezing and
not closing, but hasn't helped with pages not loading.  Please let me know if
anyone can suggest a cure for this?  Thanks so much.

Hi BJ,

Did you install Vista as an upgrade to XP?

Most problems with IE7 are caused by incompatible addons that were already
installed on the machine when the browser is upgraded to v7.

You can try the Reset button on the Advance tab of Internet Options. This
will disable all addons and reset IE's setting to the 'factory' default.

You can also disable Toolbars and BHO's (Browser Helper Objects) (these are
the most troublesome addon types) by un-checking "Enable third-party browser
extensions" on the Advanced tab of Internet Options.

Regards.
