Fairly new facebook user.  Recently started getting 'operation aborted'
coming up when I try to post on walls, open a friends profile, compose
messages, delete a mini-feed - it comes up for pretty much anything I try to
do on facebook, resulting in my connection to facebook logging out.

I don't use the 'esc' key, but do use the mouse, so the previous response to
Maggie's question doesn't appear to be helpful for my situation.

Anyone know how I get rid of, or stop the 'operation aborted' box from
appearing and basically loggin me out of facebook?

Thanks!

Windows version?
IE version?

Error message when you visit a Web page or interact with a Web application
in Internet Explorer: "Operation aborted"
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927917

You may receive an "Operation Aborted" error message in Internet Explorer
6.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1) if the SmartNav feature is enabled on .aspx pages

Thanks for your response, I should also mention I'm fairly new to using a
computer, and not savy with terminology or lingo, and I ask that any
responses use plain language :).

My laptop has Vista XP and I think it is the IE7 version.

How would I check to see if SmartNav is enabled, and if that is the issue
for the version I have, how do I turn it off?

If that isn't what will correct the issue, what can I do to possibly reset
something to stop this from happening?

Thank you again for your assistance.
