Save Web Page Working Intermittently

When trying to save a web page in IE7 this feature will only work
intermittently, I can start off saving pages for awhile but before long when
the Save Webpage window opens IE7 will freeze up and I then have to use the
Task Manager to shut it down and then re-open it to continue saving pages.
This problem will occur some  times after saving one page and some times
after saving many pages. I have gone through the troubleshooting steps and
nothing seems to work, any help anyone can give me to fix this problem will
be greatly appreciated, it gets very frustrating having to close and re-open
IE7 in order to save web pages.

My OS is Windows XP Home, I have 4GB Ram installed and my processor is a
DualCore Intel Pentium D 830, 3000 MHz .

Unfortunately, you don't tell us what "the troubleshooting steps" are that
you've tried.

Does it help to empty the cache from Tools, Internet Options, General:
Browsing History?

Does it help to disable add-ons for IE from Tools, Internet Options,
Programs, Manage add-ons?

Kind regards

Hans

Hans,

I tried everything you listed and nothing worked, the troubleshooting steps
I took are the ones listed in Microsoft for Internet Explorer 7. Although I
have not found a fix for this problem I did find a program called "EZ Save
MHT" http://www.goupsoft.com/index.php that seems to work very well, it does
cost $19.99 but I figure the expense is well worth it when I have already
spent a week of my time trying to find a fix for the problem with no luck.

Thank you for your time answering my question.

Keith
