I have IE7 and Windows XP.

New tabs keep opening in new windows, even though I have tabbed browsing
checked (isn't that what you want to check when you want to open new tabs in
the same window?).  How do I make sure that new tabs open in the same window?
Is there another setting that I need to check?

Thanks in advance to whomever may be able to help.

I want to browse in the same window.  I have IE 7, Windows XP, and Office
Professional 2007.  When I open up the list of programs in “Add or Remove
Programs”, I do not see “Office Compatibility Pack” anywhere.  Yet, I cannot
seem to find the option to “browse in same window”.  I have Office 2007, so
why can’t I “browse in same window”?

In IE go to Tools-Internet Options and on the General Tab click on Settings
under Tabbed Browsing and check the settings there...

If you have an  nVidia  video card you may have some extras
from in in the Control Panel that you will have to disable before
you can use tabbed browsing successfully.
