I had the same problem and found the culprit to be an ad blocker and/or
pop-up blocker.  Try disabling any/all of them to see if that solves the
problem.  Worked for me.  I now have my  ad blocker and pop-up set to
"allow" videos
I can no longer play movies that require FlashPlayer or that require java
scripting.  I get a message saying that I have to either enable Java
Scripting or download the latest Flashplayer version.

I have checked my settings (tools, security, custom) and Active Scripting is
enabled, and I have tried downloading the newest Flashplayer but movies
still
won't play and I get the above stated message again.

Is there some way to check, locate and/or fix  the problem?
