Hello,

Where are you choosing to save these files to? A flash drive? Keep in
mind FAT16/32-formatted volumes have a maximum file size of 4GiB. FAT is
common on removable media such as USB flash drives.

don't be silly. hard disk with many GB of disk space left (NTFS
anyway). I have files off my own site and files from http://software.opensuse.org/
other sites too like slackware.org which have 4.3GB files or larger.
because of this bug I had to split and reduce the ISO size on my
stuff.  firefox is worse: 2GiB limit.

once you click on the download link, you get an alert box "http header
error" immediately and no download will occur.

in addition to these things, if you download a file between the size
than 2GiB-4GiB, IE will truncate the file (chop it off).
