My IE6 add ons list shows a list of add ons that have been used by
internet explorer which includes msxml3.dll which is enabled.

I cannot find it when searching for it on my c drive using the windows
explorer search facility.

Does anyone know where it would be?

Thanks

Tweak your search so that hidden files and folders are included.

I already tried that.

No joy, but thanks for the suggestion.

Any others?

My search came up with 5 locations.

The active one being C:\WINDOWS\system32\msxml3.dll

The other locations are:

C:\WINDOWS\$NtServicePackUninstall$\msxml3.dll
C:\WINDOWS\$NtUninstallKB936021$\msxml3.dll
C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\msxml3.dll
C:\WINDOWS\$hf_mig$\KB936021\SP2QFE\msxml3.dll

Make sure that you are searching System folders, Hidden files and folders, and
subfolders.
