Lately my internet connection has gone out, out of the blue. The reason that
I know about this is because of the fact that my ISP is AOL and I have an AOL
icon right beside the system clock. Anytime there is no internet connection,
there will be a red x. The strange thing is that everything is normal meaning
that my modem is functiong and windows detects my modem so that leaves other
possibilities. I have a high speed internet connection via a cable modem.
Other solutions to try?
Windows version? IE version?

When did you first notice the problem? What changes did you make to your
machine just before the problem started (e.g., installed a Windows Update;
upgraded anti-virus application or other security software)?
Did you install IE7 before or after you installed SP3?
