This question isn't important but is something I've been curious about. With
both IE6 and IE7, when I add to Favorites, sometimes the addition appears in
alphabetical order--but most of the time it appears as the last of the
entries. Any idea of why the difference? I'm using XP SP3, but the same
thing happened with SP1.

Thank you!

Did you know that you can right click and sort so all are in alphabetical
order?

Thank you, Frank. Yes, I know, and I've taken to doing it every time I add
something to the Favorites. The last time I went to do it, I found the item
already in alphabetical order; and that has happened before.

A new item stays at the bottom until  IE  is restarted, provided you didn't
do something which would have disabled the Sort attribute, such as dragging
an icon to a particular position in the list.
