Every time I try to upload pictures, I get a very annoying message:
"A website wants to open web content using this program on your
computer"
It goes on to say:
"The program will open outside of protected mode. Internet Explorer's
Protected Mode helps protect your computer. If you do not
trust this website, do not open this program."
Then it gives more information:
Name: Windows host process (Rundll32)
Publisher: Microsoft Windows.
Details: C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\wmm2clip.dll
Even worse: it does this for every video in the directory having the
pictures I am uploading.
What is going on here? It started recently probably after an update. I
think it's trying to get video detail. I would suggest to Microsoft to
save my damn actions and not ask me every freaking time. Poorly
programmed, IMO.
Anyway, what can I do to remove this retarded message or to fix
whatever 'security issue' IE thinks is wrong?

Hi Frank,
It's protected mode. I'm on Vista SP 1 and IE 7. I turned it off so
now i'm good.
Thanks

Yes. I have VISTA and the only way to alleviate the annoyance was to
turn protected mode OFF.
So, I guess I dont want to be protected from uploading pictures. lol.
Whatever.
