Because it is in your History (Ctrl-H) and because you have AutoComplete
for Web Addresses enabled.   The "typing it in" factor only affects the
TypedURLs list (F4).   The list you would be seeing (called AutoSuggest)
is constructed principally from the History, not just the TypedURLs.

Robert,

How can I delete all the URLs from my location bar. I deleted the history,
but they seem to appear again. How can I disable the AutoComplete
for Web Addresses. This may be basic for some, but I really have problems
with it.
Thanks a lot

Al

In the Registry, while IE is closed, delete the key
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
