Not always but many times when I exit IE7 I get the error message "Internet
Explorer has stopped working", Vista then looks for the problem and restarts
IE7.  Da!  Of course it stopped working.  I was through with it and I closed
the program.  The last thing in the world I want Vista to do is restart it!
Suggestions please.

Start | Run | msinfo32 | OK

...or see if Windows Vista Service Pack 1 is listed in Install Programs or
Windows Update.

It does not say anything about SP1.  Should I get it?

It was just a question, Bob.  I would NOT have installed Vista SP1 unless
and until it was offered by Windows Update.  (Was it?  Do you have Automatic
Update enabled?)

Nevertheless, does your IE problem persist now that you've installed SP1?

I went to Windows Update and did what it told me.  That was included.

Yes.  I have not used it enough yet to find out.  I'll reposts if it does.
