I'm having trouble with autoComplete for user names and passwords. I have all
the boxs checked to save web addresses, forms, user names and passwords on
forms and also prompt me to save passwords is checked. I have went into the
advanced settings and reset Internet Explorer settings, restored advanced
settings. It just wont prompt to save! Does anyone have any suggestions?

What kind of site and password?
Most financial sites do not aoow IE to save passwords.
Also, Windows Live ID  (Passport) almost never saves passwords.

I'm running xp pro. I only want to save passwords and other autoCompleted
items in sites like myspace.com, bandzoogle.com etc. I was able to save them
up until yesterday. I ran my xp software to recover a few things and after I
ran it my Internet Explorer shorcuts were gone. So I figured I deleted IE 7
somehow. I installed it all over again and found that IE 7 would no longer
prompt me to save any info. I then went into Internet Options and checked to
make sure the AutoComplete and Propt box were checked. I restarted my
computer as well. This seems like an easy fix however I'm having trouble with
it! Any help is more than welcome! Thanks, Matt

Hi,
From Internet Options> Content> Autocomplete, delete form data and
passwords. Close / re-open IE. Any change?

Hope this helps,
