I can't browse to most of the Microsoft Expressions web sites on one of my
computers but I can on the other one. The good one is IE Version 7.0.5730.13
and the bad one is IE Version 7.0.5730.11. I have tried to udate it, full
virus scan, disable all add-ons, and delete cached web pages. Nothing helps!
When I try to browse to these pages I get the "We are sorry, the page you
requested cannot be found." page and any link I try on this page gets me back
to the same page. Some one please help!

Hi,
1. Work through this article:
936213- How to optimize or reset Internet Explorer 7:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936213/en-us

2. The troublesome third-party program may not be strictly an add-on.
Disable other security, privacy, ad-blocking programs, security suites,
firewalls, etc. to see if one of them is causing the problem.

You may have to uninstall programs to test.
Removing McAfee may require a removal tool

Removing Norton/Symantec products completely will require the removal tool

3. [WinXP]
Try opening a Cmd window (or from Start> Run) enter
ipconfig /flushdns
then clear the Temporary Internet Files and restart.

4. Check the HOSTS file.
Make sure that Windows is showing hidden files and is not hiding file
extensions for known file types then check for a HOSTS file at
[C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc] Open the HOSTS file with notepad. If there
are any redirect entries in it you can put the pound sign (#) in front an
entry to disable that redirect. Or you can rename the HOSTS file to (ie)
HOSTS.OLD
More on the HOSTS file at http://www.accs-net.com/hosts/

Hope this helps,
Don

Hi Don,

Reseting the browser fixed the problem. I reenabled all of the add-ins and
everything was OK. I wonder what setting caused the problem.

Hi,
Since you had cleared the browser cache, the problem may have been with
history or cookies. Anyway... glad the reset worked for you.
