I have a vague problem on my home PC. IE always throws an error saying "Your
computer is not connected" and additional error messages.

When I run the Network diagnostics tool, it says that everything is
perfectly in order. Also all my other applications like GTalk, MSN Messenger
& Yahoo Messenger does not have any problems.

I did Uninstall/reinstall of IE7 its the same problem. I am at my wits end
what exactly is the problem.

We can't help with a "vague problem" and "additional error messages". We
need details, otherwise you will receive a generic answer.

Start IE 7 with no add-ons.

Start Internet Explorer from a shortcut on your desktop with the
following target (don't forget the quote marks):

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"  -extoff

If the problem no longer occurs, one (or more) add-ons was causing the
problem.
