On certain websites links do not work and the message Error on page comes up.
If I click the 'Error on page' then an error window appearswith the text' no
such interface supported'

Can anyone offer any help. I have Vista with IE7.

Please provide a sample URL where this happens.

Does the same problem occur when you start IE 7 with no add-ons:

Start Internet Explorer from a shortcut on your desktop with the
following target (don't forget the quote marks):

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"  -extoff

If the problem no longer occurs, one (or more) add-ons was causing the
problem.

Leonard,

Thanks for the prompt reply. Unfortunately the URL is in my on line bank
account.

I tried your suggestion for starting IE7 with no add-ones but had the same
problem.

I will try and find a web site that you too can access that exhibits my
problem.

I found the following URL using IE7 on this web site
http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.mspx?dg=mi
crosoft.public.internetexplorer.general&lang=en&cr=US&r=4530ac84-fbaa-48d4-9392-

When I click new message using IE7 then I get the error on page with 'no
such interface supported'

I Googled (new verb) the error message and found a great deal of
information. I believe you will find several suggestions there, having
to do with scripting. There is no one answer. Best to contact the
support teams of one or more web pages where you experience this problem
and work with them. It may be as simple updating to the newest version
of Java.
