IE7 - Print preview is available under File in menu bar.  It used to be
available on right click menu as well - between Print... and Refresh.

Now it is missing.  If I use cntrl-N to get new window with menubar, Print
Preview is grayed out.

I tried remove IE7, the re-install through windows update but that didn't
help.

The problem is on a PC with XP Pro SP2.

You may have another horked (dirty; bad; flawed) install of IE7.  I suggest
that you...

1. Uninstall IE7 (which automatically returns you to IE6) EXACTLY per
http://www.ie-vista.com/kbase2.html [Only use the Command
%windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe if you cannot uninstall via Add/Remove
Programs!]

2a. Uninstall all toolbars and third-party Windows Themes (including Window
Blinds).

2b. Disable all Norton Add-ons, if applicable.

3. Reinstall IE7 EXACTLY per
http://www.ie-vista.com/known_issues.html#pre-install <= Steps #1-8, #10 &
#11; take note of #12, then STOP!

NB: Use http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/default.mspx as the
installation source, not Automatic/Windows Update.

Or Direct Download link:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9ae91ebe-3385-447c-8a30
-081805b2f90b

Tip: Save the installer to your desktop, do not Run it.

4. IMMEDIATELY go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and install any
critical updates offered.  If a "Root Certificates" update is listed in the
Optional category, you might install it, too, to take full advantage of
IE7's additional security.

Thanks for the answer PA Bear. I found your post on technologyquestions dec
18 07 with similar content. good stuff!
I tried it and it didn't solve the problem. Previous to the problem, the
last change on this PC running IE7 was uninstall google toolbar. The user
found that the option was missing from rc menu. Then came my post.
It didn't work the first time so I tried it again. While in IE6, I checked
pp - available in menubar but not rc menu. I ran a repair using ie.inf,
browsed to iexplore from I386 folder on SP2 cd. Still no. Then I installed
google toolbar again - in IE6. Still no. I  ran the IE7 install (saved to
desktop following your procedures!) and Voila! Print preview resides happily
in rc menu and it works! Runonce even worked like it was supposed to (lol - I
think??).
Thanks again! :)
