I have seen a couple of comments about CCleaner causing problems with
cookies.........I had a cookie with that name, but I could not find any
program or file on my PC with that name.  I deleted the cookie, and would
like to know, how I stop this from running and/or check it's options to see
if that is my problem?

Cookies are not writing, I have to log in to every site I go to everytime,
really sucks.

Thanks

Syd

Hi,
Which version of Windows?
Which version of Internet Explorer?
Do you have a third-party security/privacy/antispyware program installed
which has a "manage cookies" feature?

CCleaner is a free program available from www.ccleaner.com To see if
CCleaner is installed, check Control Panel> Add or remove programs (Windows
XP) Is it listed? Having a ccleaner.com cookie simply means you visited the
website. It would not interfere with other cookies.

Hope this helps,
Don

I did visit the site to see what it was...............but, if it wrote a
cookie and it stayed there, why won't the rest of my sites.
I have XP Service pack 2
IE 7
Norton Anti Virus which I believe, does not control cookies?

CCleaner was not in the programs to be added or removed.
