I'd like to remove the check mark from the "Enable protected mode" check box,
but the check box and the label are greyed out in my browser.

Can anybody shed light on this?

Thank you.

Hi Bill,

It is either a Group Policy setting (consult your network administrators),
or an Internet Security program like Windows One Care.

Depending on your OS version, logon with an Administrators account. It
should be enabled for Administrators.

Regards.
