I just re-installed IE7, after you tech spent 2+ hours getting my machine
back on line after a major problem loading SP3 on my XP home computer.
We just switched all of our e-mail accounts from AT&T Yahoo to gmail. I
would like  to be able to add gmail in the pull down box in the e-mail window
under the "programs" tab in Internet Options. The only selections available
now are:
1: Microsoft Outlook
2: Outlook Express
3:Windows Live Mail
I used to be able to pick Yahho mail until I deleted all of my AT&T stuff
off my computer.
I think it would make it more user friendly to make this an option.

Hi Louann,

To make GMail as your default email handler ?
Download either
<A href="http://www.google.com/talk/" target=_blank>Google Talk</A> or the
<A
href="http://mail.google.com/mail/help/notifier/" target=_blank>Gmail
Notifier</A> [available both for Mac and Windows]. For Google talk, open the
settings dialog and tick the checkbox next to the setting "Open Gmail when I
click on email links". For Gmail notifier, right click the options menu and
check the box next to Use Gmail for internet mailto: links
