When I try to locate products using MSDN OFFline Index search on the Index
CD-ROM (or by copying the CD content to disk) the search never ends and IE 6
sits there using about 70% CPU on Windows XP SP2.  What do I have to do in
order to make the MSDN Offline Index work?
(IE 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_.gdr.050301-1519)

System Info:
MSDN Subscriptions Index April 2005
Internet Explorer 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519
Windows XP Pro 5.1.2600 SP2

Problem duplicates with any recent MSDN Index CD.
Problem duplicates on Windows 2000 Server SP4 with IE 6.0.2800.1106

Well, I have to correct myself: IE does not completely hang.  After about an
hour or so it finally returns search results.  I attached the VS2K3 debugger
to prove to myself that something was actually happening.

This is pretty awful.
