Can anyone help please!

I am able to download News items in Microsoft Explorer - when I highlight
them I am unable to delete the item.

Many of the items in File - Edit - View drop down are in faint print.

Thanks
Alan

I presume you mean in Outlook Express and not Micrsoft Explorer?

Depending on your operating system, you may need to upgrade your version
of IE/OE so that these options become available to you.

Is this your own PC, or one at work? Certain tools may have been
restricted by your admin if the latter.

You don't really give us much to go on. Have a look at this link which
will help you to help us.

Visit Windows Update to install IE6-SP1 ("Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook
Express 6.00.2720.3000").
