I have OE5.00 running in Win98SE.
Suddenly I don't get any graphics in e-mails anymore.  I just get a small
square with a red X in the top left corner.  It's most noticeable in
commercial e-mails I'm subscribed to.
Any ideas would be most welcome, thanks,
John

The Red X indicates that OE is having a problem displaying the image.

With commercial mails, the image is most likely a link to a web site.
- Are you connected to the Internet when you try to view the messages?
- Also make sure that File, Work Offline is NOT checked

A few other things to check
- Red X instead of picture

- Hotbar can cause image problems

- Another possible cause of problems is a corrupted cache.  Try clearing
it.
