I have windows 95 and OE 5. I have configured OE to use Hotmail Account.
However, when I send a mail through this account , the recipient is NOT able
to open the mail (unless they use the Reply tab)and it also shows more KB.
If the mail is sent directly through Hotmail it is perfect.
What is the reason for this difference and how to correct it.
Thanks

Since they are able to use the Reply function, it sounds like they are able to open the
message. Is it that the message appears blank?
What mail program are they using?
A problem can occur when OE5 users send in HTML format and the HTML character set is
Unicode (utf-7) or similar. OE4 and OE5 recipients can at least read the message, many
other recipients, such as Netscape won't be able to. Eudora may see double characters.
Some Mail Received May be Blank or Display Characters "yp"

Blank Reply Msg. Sent if "Include Message in Reply" Not Selected

In OE5+ you should use "Western European (ISO)" for Encoding. Places to check this:
- Tools, Options, Send, International
- Tools, Options, Read, Font
- Tools, Options, Read, International
- When composing a message, look in Format, Encoding
If that's not the case, send me a message from your Outlook Express and I'll take a look
at it.

The Recipient is also using Hotmail, but directly not through OE. I believe
that they recieve few jumbled letters!
Thanks in advance
