how to lookup email before getting them in local machine?

Hi,all
The lookup function can only get emails from those aquired on local machine,
but how can I lookup email in group on server before getting them in local
machine?

sorry, I means the function of "find or search those emails for some special
topic" that the outlookexpress provided.
