Can anyone help me, I have just loaded Outlook Express 5 on my Apple mac but
for some reason I cannot access the spellings tab in preferences, it is
greyed out for some reason and I cannot find any way of changing it, can
anyone help

If it is like the Windows version it doesn't come with a spelling checker.
You need to install another Microsoft program like Word, Excel or Publisher
to get the spelling checker.
