OE removing access

Why does OE not allow me to open select attachments when
they are coming from my frequently used email addresses?  
Their message reads "OE has removed access to the unsafe
attachment - FWD"
Any idea how I can stop them from doing this - these same
attachments are able to be opened by others.

Outlook Express menu:

Tools/Options/Security. Uncheck "do not allow attachments..."
