I need help on how to stop internet explorer automatically
starting up when I turn on my computer. It doesn't
connect me online, but the window seems to keep popping up
without me clicking on the icon. Can anyone help me stop
this very frustrating problem???

Rule out parasites.

The free version of ZoneAlarm would do that to me, now have the paid
version. No more problems.

Run MSCONFIG from the start/run applet under the startup tab any processing
calling IE?
