hi, all
well, this question is more like a question on English. "cumulative" means a collection of all previoes items, right? That's from what I understand, if I install the latest cumulative security patch, I wouldn't have to worry about all previous update problem
Well, after I install Q828750 to my IE6sp1, I keep getting "HTTP 404 - File Not Found". Later I found the new cumulative security patch Q832894, so I install it. But that didn't solve the problem. So I had to go back to Q827667.
Just exectly what is the latest patch now
I wish microsoft can come up with a better system of updating

thank you,

When do you get the 404 error?

Can this be the cause?

Fix, if This problem occurs after you apply the 832894 security update
(MS04-004) or the 821814 hotfix.

SYMPTOMS
Programs that use Wininet functions to post data (such as a user name or a
password) to a Web server retry the POST request with a blank header if the
Web server closes (or resets) the initial connection request.
