Java applet stop working after installing latest patches

Java Applet not loading on a Application browser, Some IEs are still working
while some are not loading the browser application we are using.

I have tried to roll back,to uninstall to repair OS all to no avail, can
someone help in solving this currently about 50 workstations running Windows
2000 are affected.

I have even try to installed Java plug-in 1.3.1 (initial) it did not work.
The Systems were updated by SUS server.

You say the systems were updated via SUS, but you don't tell us what updates
were installed.
