We have a secure order page we are deploying, the SSL lock icon blinks in and
then disapears when the page loads.  You can double click where the icon
should display and look at the certificate information and the page is secure
using the https:.

How do we prevent the Lock Icon from disappearing?

It is one thing to make sure the page is secure but if customers do not see
the lock then that is going to cause problems.

Thanks for the assistance.

More information:

It is an .aspx page that is giving us the problem.

If people hit the page using Firefox or Mozilla browsers the lock icon
displays without an issue.

It is only within IE the problem happens.

As a test I went to https://www.microsoft.com and the same issue happens.

The page is secure, you can double click where the icon should display and
get the certifiacte info, but no Lock Icon.

Microsoft should not wonder why people are moving to Firefox in large
numbers with all of the issues surrounding IE.  It is pretty bad when thier
own site has the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Is it a CA or SSC certificate?
Try viewing https://www.thawte.com/ and see if you are having the same
problem.
It looks like an issue with the certificate itself.
