Lost ie5.5/Can't find server

By accident the ie5.5 icon was deleted from the desk top, now it says
it can't find the server. I use other browsers so I know there is a
connection. I can't use restore as I would loose boo koo software.
Any ideas?

To get your IE desktop icon back, go to Start...Settings...Control
Panel...Internet Options, Advanced tab, Browsing section, put a check in the
box by "Show Internet Explorer on desktop", click Apply, click Okay.

As for your connection issue, those settings may have gotten changed - so
check the settings on the Connections tab in Internet Options.  If no joy,
